New Moon!

I had a good time last night at the New Moon premier. I went with my sister and a whole bunch of friends. Kiowa Gordon who plays Embry was there signing autographs. We didn't wait in line to get one. But he came into our theater before the movie started. He looked much younger in person than he did in the movie. Anyways, onto my movie review. I liked it! I would definitely go see it again. Although I'm sure I won't until it comes out on DVD.

Here are some obligatory cell phone pictures of me and my sister. Never mind that I look hideous.

If you guessed

Cullen Crest, you are correct.

It is the front of the shirt I am wearing to Thursday night's premiere.

Here is the back

and here is the sign I made to reserve my seat.

New Moon trailer

Look what came out last night! I'm suprised, I think the trailer is great! This was definetly my least favorite of the books. I have only read it once. Compared to the five times I have read the others. Oh yes, that would be each.It probably would be more. Except the people I barrowed from, wanted their books back. Can you believe them? They could just get a whole new set at Costco for like 40 bucks.(Hint-cough-Hint,birthday present-cough.)

Twilight - the movie.

I don't usually do two post in one day. But, I am sure you all are just dieing to hear what I thought about the movie. Aren't you? Actually I don't think my opinions are much different from anyone elses. Except I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Which wasn't something I was really expecting from a book I had deemed as a sort of romance novel. I believe Charlie stole the show, Emmett too, oh and Billy. Ah who am I kidding, Edward (gasp), and I lost my train of thought. Cedric Diggory is much hotter, as a vampire. "Oops", did I say that out loud. Don't worry you all my husband knows my eyes are only for him. Since I am irrevocably in love with him. As if you all hadn't notice before. By the way irrevocable is my new favorite word. Richard used to be my human dictionary, but after asking him what incredulous means four times, he said it would probably be better if I just looked it up. That way I would remember what it meant if I actually put some effort into finding out. At first I thought he was just being mean. Turns out he was right. Sorry for the side track, back to the movie. I also thought Edward was very endearing, I actually liked the parts where you could hear his accent. It turns out I have sort of a thing for foreigners. Heath Ledger (knight not cowboy), Orlando Bloom (pirate not elf), and now Robert Pattinson (vampire not wizard). Anyways, the movie was cute definitely geared for teenage girls. Again, it was absolutely hilarious with a couple of cheesy moments. Casting was done perfectly, everyone looked how I imagined them, except Rosalie who for some reason I couldn't picture well. Oh, and a little to much make up for Dr. Cullen. I wasn't quite ready for the vampire scenes, a little to much for me. My last critique, not that anyone but me really cares. But I imagined the special effects a little different. Maybe a little more Smallville, I don't know. Over all I liked it, and would definitely see it again.

Breaking Dawn

I've finished it all. It took me nine days total witch I know isn't very fast for some. But considering I'm a really slow reader (which is why I don't usually do it), and I have a lot of responsibilities (family, chores, and church callings, etc). Nine days is pretty good for me. Not to say that most of my responsibilities weren't shirked. The unimportant one's anyways. I'm so glad I didn't have to wait in between books, and I'm glad the movie comes out in less than two weeks. I'm not usually one to be this into a book series, although I really enjoyed all of Harry Potter. I'm totally excited, and even considering seeing the midnight showing. If there are still tickets. So the book. I won't give anything away because I know three people who are still on 3 & 4. But at about page 400 something. I would have been completely satisfied if I had not read the rest. Of coarse that wasn't going to happen.

Another question. For those of you who have read it. I heard before I read it that it was questionable for younger girls. You know like the s-e-x stuff. After reading I don't know if I really agree. She did it very tastefully. Definitely PG 13, but with good taste. What do you guys think?

New Moon

I finished New Moon. I stayed up way to late last night finishing it. I loved the first chapter, but got a little bored until about half way through. I was so tempted to sneak a peak. So I have been told I have to pick. No questions asked, it's Edward for me. I do however reserve the right to change my mind if I do so please. I got very excited at the end. I have never wanted someone to turn into a vampire more in my entire life. I am going to pick up Eclipse this afternoon. Who knows Maybe I will be done by tomorrow. I'm getting more excited for the movie. We are getting a small group together for Friday the 21st. We haven't picked a for sure time, but probably should soon. If you want to join us leave me a comment, and I will keep you posted. Also I am very curious who you all picked. Just don't spoil anything for me, K.

Twilight... and I might make you barf!

I finished reading it in less than 48 hours. It was about 42 to be exact. It probably would have been sooner, but I had to stop for silly things like eating, sleeping, and potty brakes. I absolutely L-O-V-E this book! It reminded me of the moments that made me fall in love with Richard. I think that's why I liked it so much. He's definitely not a vampire. But he was so different than anyone I had ever met, and the way he made me feel was indescribable. His eyes were a gorgeous blue like my boys. But sometimes they would turn the prettiest green I had ever seen. They were very mysterious, and I remember very distinctly the first day I fell in love with them. He was the hottest guy I had ever seen, and still is. We definitely had the good girl, bad boy thing going for us. Lastly, when I was with him nothing else mattered. Still doesn't. Sorry for the mushiness. I wanted to remember these feelings today. Not that I will ever forget them, I just want them to be here.
Today officially marks Richard being doing with his Masters. Congratulations!!!! We are so proud of you, and so glad we get to have you all to our selves.
