Christmas 2009

We had "the best Christmas ever!" According to Jace, and I would agree. Seeing your children filled with anticipation and excitement. So fun! I'm totally bummed my external flash broke the day before Christmas Eve. So not only did I not have it for pics. I now have to buy a new one:(

You would think since I got a new camera for Christmas I would have taken a lot more pictures. But I just got caught up in the moment, and pretty much forgot.

Halloween 2009

Since Thanksgiving is around the corner, I figured I better hurry and put these up.

I always want the boys to cordinate. I defienetly don't want them to match (unless they wanted to) but I think a theme is fun. I'm deffinetly not into making costumes. Although I envy those who can.

So I suggested to the boys they be the super hero squad, and they all happily obliged.

I decided to take my own advice. We got the kids ready a little early, and took some fun pictures outside. Here's what we got.

Isn't hulk scary when he sucks his thumb?

That's much better.

How about when he throws a truck?

Jace was the cutest super man ever! He loves his costume, and still wears it all the time.

Jaren wanted to be wolverine, and we had to go to several different stores to find it. Perserverance paid off, finally.

Here is Jace after his school party.

Wow, late or what?

Here is our fourth of July post, finally!

Blowing off steam in the motel room before heading out to the parade.
Richard had gone to load up the car, and me being the great parent that I am. Decided it would be better to take pictures of their impromptu cage fight(minus the cage, obviously) rather than tell them to knock it off. What can I say? You can all line up for my great parenting tips anytime! As you can see Jaren is usually the Victor. However, Jace enjoys it no matter what (proof is in the first picture) and every once in a while he gets a good lick in.

Waiting for the parade to start. My Uncle Kenny brought my Grandpa's old truck he restored. I wish I had a picture of the whole thing, but there were to many people crowded around it.
The statue of Liberty was my favorite float. The pyro's were so loud.
My second Cousin Kate won Little Miss Eager last year so she got to ride in the parade this year!Proof I really was there. Me & My Grandma. Some of the girls & Daniel hiding
Jessica,Renee, & Grandma.
Uncle Kenny's family minus Melissa.

Memorial Day 2009

Sometimes I have great ideas! Like, I know...on Memorial day lets walk to the surprise parade. It's only about a mile, and since the street will be blocked off anyways...It's what would be best. NOT! Much to my dismay the parade had been the Saturday before. Seriously? A Memorial Day parade on a Saturday? At least we weren't the only ones. There were tons of people their all wondering about the parade. Despite the small set back we had an extraordinarily fun day.
