This is mine and Jaren's new routine. He is having horrible stomach cramping from his antibiotics. So every time it starts hurting he tells me he needs to squeeze me. Then I rub his head until he falls asleep again, or it starts to feel better.
Jaren is like me. He doesn't get sick very often. But when he does he goes BIG! He started off with a little cold. That turned into a respiratory infection. Which a couple days latter turned into a right ear infection. After a few days it turned into a left ear infection. Now he is having horrible stomach craps, and diarrhea from the antibiotics. He has missed 6 days of school in the last 2 weeks. I'm so afraid there going to try and investigate me or something. I'm not even sure when hes going to be able to go back to school. I read it can take up to two weeks to go away. He hasn't eaten but little nibbles of food since about Thursday. He doesn't want to do anything but lay in bed. Which even for a sick Jaren is pretty unusual. I love him so much and it makes me so sad to see him so sick. He didn't even flinch when my flash was going crazy while I was taking pictures of him. I was trying out depth of field on my camera. It is so fun!
***Updated 2/12***Jaren is feeling much better, and went back to school today! Yesterday I was trying to take pictures of him. He looks so skinny since he hasn't eaten in 5 days. He was being a bit camera shy without his shirt on. But it was so nice to see him smile.

SO sad!!! I hope he feels better, I got your message but it was a bit to late, enjoy the time while he is home just to snuggle!!!
that's so sad...I hate when my kids are sick & it is especially sad when they just want to sit and do nothing...i hope he gets better soon
