well, maybe just once. I am in love with taking pictures. Obsessed actually. I took photo in high school. I loved it! We had those huge black, and silver cameras, and got to develop are own film in a dark room. It was super fun! But I was easily frustrated. So I quit cold turkey. Well the thirst is back. Almost everything I see. I think "that would be an awesome picture". But it doesn't end there. I start thinking of all the different methods, and things I could do to make it a good picture. I know it's a disease, really. I have started my new digital photography class, and I love every minute of it. It's making it really hard to kick the habit. For the past couple of days I have been wanting to take pictures of Tate in the window seat in his room. I have been waiting till the sun was in a good spot. Today I finally got the chance. I played around with a lot of the new techniques I have learned. Only a few so far. It was super fun, and I got some of the results I was looking for. Now, I'm learning photography is an art form. I have never in my whole life considered myself an artist, and I still don't. But for the sake of my very tender feelings. Please know, I love these pictures. Being considered "art" you are entitled to your own opinions. I just don't know if I'm ready for them yet. That being said I will have my first critique in a week. I am so nervous. Okay, without further ado the pictures.

On another note. My baby is 11 months old. Or at least he will be at 12:45 p.m. tomorrow. I love him SO much. He is a special little guy, that's for sure. He is starting to communicate in his own little way. I can't explain it, but I always know what he means.

Richard was very honest with me that he wasn't a fan of the pictures. He usually is a fan of my "work". But he doesn't like the lighting. He thinks they are either to dark or to light. That is actually what I love about them! They are a little more natural looking to me. Which was what I was going for. See it really is art. Honestly I took the Criticism well.
