Yesterday we took my camera to RITZ camera inside of Arrowhead mall. The lady told me it would be $120.oo to repair, and could take up to five weeks. Doesn't she know every day is prescious, and 5 weeks is about 35 days of wasted memories. She also said we could replace it for $200.00. I didn't bring my purse in, other wise I would have had it fixed. So I went home. Richard looked online, and found new lenses for $100.00. But first we wanted to play around with it. The lens was cock eyed in the barrel. So my beefy husband pulled, and pulled, and saved us $100.00. He fixed it!!! This may not seem post worthy to all of you. But there is nothing I find more sexy then saving 100 plus dollars. Plus I just couldn't be happier to have my sweet baby back! Oh, the quality!!!
p.s. I learned my lesson. I had left my camera, in it's case, in my room, on the floor. I found it out on the floor with the lens all cock eyed, and it wouldn't auto focus. Never again. It will remain out of reach of little hands at all times.
p.s.s. Research before you buy expensive equipment. When I was in Ritz my camera was almost double the price. I saw a young couple buying one. It took ever ounce of control to not scream "Your paying way to much". You all know I just couldn't do it.
