Jaren has started playing flag football. He has had 3 games. He has grown immensely from the beginning practices. He had no idea what was going on. Now he knows all of the rules, where to stand, and such. His attitude has improved 100%. From not really wanting to go, and being whiny. To now he loves to go, and has a great attitude. His first time on offense during the first game, he pulled his own team mates flag. On his behalf I would like to say he had only practiced defense, and they just kept drilling that in his head. We all had a good laugh. Except Jaren who was incredible embarrassed, and upset. By the second half he was over it, and finished playing the rest of the game. The second game he got to play running back for the second half. He was so cute. His Dad would give him little pep talks all week, and then quiz him on plays. They don't really throw the ball, they hand it off. For obvious reasons(they are only 5 & 6.) He did really well. He had a long run for a first down before his flag was pulled. This game is where the pictures are from. He is the one with the long navy blue socks on. The third game he was the center for the second half. They are the one who snaps the ball to the quarter back. He would wait for the hike, pass the ball to the quarter back. He would then block for the QB, and RB. He did such a great job, and we are very proud of his hard work.

Cute! We were going to sign Noah up for that but we are just too busy right now.
Nathan starts basketball on Saturday. I hope it will help with his attitude and girlieness. I have images of him crying if he can't make a basket. I am excited to see him gain confidence.
