I don't want to forget this

A couple of day ago Jaren walked up to me and said "Mom, smell my hands." I was a little reluctant, but did it anyways. The following was so cute.
Mommy - What is that? (confession, I already knew what it was)
Jaren - Daddy's blue stuff. (Richards deodorant)
Mommy - Honey, that is for your arm pits. Go wash your hands.
Jaren - But I want to be cool, Like Daddy.
Mommy - Okay lets put some on your pits.
Jaren - I already did.
Apparently he had rubbed it all over his arms.

The same night me and Richard were laying in bed watching an old ABC special on the laptop. I know kind of lame. But TV has been really boring lately, and someone had recommended we watch it. Richard had his shirt off, and the computer laying on his chest. Jace walked in with his little computer his Nana & Papa had got him for Christmas. He sets it next to me on the bed, and begins to take his shirt off.
Mommy - Jace what are you doing?
Jace - I want to lay wich you.
Mommy - Leave your shirt on.
Jace - No, I want to be like Daddy.
He then proceeded to climb in the bed next to us and place his computer on his chest while he played. It was so cute.

I think sometimes we forget just how much are children watch, grow, learn, and then become just like us. Each one of are children have such different personalities. But everything they are has come from us. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband to be my boys dad. Before I had Jaren I used to like to watch the discovery health channel. (Do they even have that channel anymore?) There was this Doctor who once said. "If I had a magic wand I would wave it all around and give all the children a mother and a father." I think sometimes we take for granted something as simple as a Mom and Dad. I'm so grateful for my parents who have made me who I am. I truly feel blessed that they are mine.

How cute is that! The deoderant thing makes me laugh cause Brayden did the same thing yesterday(well he out Chuck's deoderant on, just like dad). Like father, like son!!

That is so cute! Tyson was caught putting deoderant on his armpits last year some time...and then it he attempted to eat it. Yummy! Hey you asked me about the little surprise and I think it is $9 per child and nothing for adults. they also have wifi there so you can bring your laptop if you want. :-)
