Yesterday I was at a pot luck lunch with some friends. They were all talking about this story http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com/ and how it made them all ball. I thought this girl won't cry, until I read it. I cant even begin to describe how awesome this story really is. So just read it! It will take a few minutes of your time, but it will be worth it. I haven't cried that hard in a long time. I wish there were more people like this in the world.
So I have been taking a history of Mormonism class. What I thought was going to be a history class has actually been more of a debating religion class. This was hard for me at first these people just want the facts. Some of you may know this about me and some of you may not. I always try to learn from every encounter I have good or bad. What is the lesson here? I usually ask myself (if it is not already obvious).
So your asking me what have I learned from this class? If not, I'm going to tell you anyway. My faith is built upon well just that, faith. My faith is not built upon facts alone it is mostly built upon the spirit of the Lord. The spirit that is felt when reading stories like the one up above. The spirit that is felt when I enter the Temple, hear a good sacrament talk, or Sunday school lesson. The spirit that is felt when I get to hold one of my babies for the first time, have them blessed, or kiss them goodnight. The spirit that is felt when I read the scriptures, or hear an answer to a prayer. The spirit I feel when I think about the incredible man I have married, and what an example he is to me. Most of you know the tough outer shell my husband likes to show. I however know what a truly remarkable person he is, and truly feel blessed to have this privilege.
Okay I don't usually like to reveal emotional Lori. Just this once I think it will be okay. As long as you don't tell anybody. Just kidding! The class, and the story have been big faith builders for me. So I thought I would share.
Here is a rare but awesome picture of my husband. He is smiling. He smiles a lot, but not usually for the camera. Jess got this picture when he was trying to cheer Jace up after a spill. Doesn't he have an awesome smile? I love it!

I love your new look even better than the blue. I still need to work on my blog. I just don't have the time or patience right now. Maybe later. Lori, I love that you opened up a little bit more. We are family and we don't know each other very well, but through our blogs I feel like I know you better. You are an amazing woman and I love you. That is a cute picture.
VISITING YOU...VERY NICE YOUR BLOG. AND GOOD PICTURES...
