Spring Break

Last week was Jaren's spring break. We are thankful we all survived. We got pretty bored. So we thought of some things to do to have fun. Jaren is the best at this he has the cutest imagination. For starters he dressed himself up as an army guy, and used his light saber as a gun. The things in his pocket are his bombs which he would throw around the house and make funny sounds to simulate an explosion. He was cracking me up.

Then the kids wanted to dress up in Halloween costumes. This was fun as well. Jace did not want to take his off. After his bath he had to put it back on.

On another occasion the boys were playing outside. They were all red faced and wanted to come in. Until I suggested they play in the water. I don't know why my kids think they have to play in the water naked. They just do. Watch out it is a full moon.
Jace hasn't left the swing alone since we set it up. So to teach him a lesson I locked him in it. Great parenting, I know! It was only for a minute which is like an eternity in Jace time. He was so mad. He only did it one other time after that. So we let him sweat it out for a few more minutes. Needless to say he hasn't done it since.
